Nejvýznamnější bibliografická databáze medievalistické literatury evropské provenience, která je zpracovávána na půdě International Medieval Institute při University of Leeds. Databáze obsahuje celkem 300 tisíc záznamů s retrospektivou od roku 1967 a ročním přírůstkem 25 tisíc záznamů. Mezinárodní ediční tým sleduje 4500 časopisů a dalších 5000 publikací. K dispozici je vícejazyčný tezaurus.

The leading bibliography of the European Middle Ages (c. 400-1500) The International Medieval Bibliography was founded in 1967 with the support of the Medieval Academy of America, with the aim of providing a comprehensive, current bibliography of articles in journals and miscellany volumes (conference proceedings, essay collections or Festschriften) worldwide. The International Medieval Institute, based at the University of Leeds, is responsible for producing the bibliography. A unique network of over 50 specialist contributors and teams throughout the world ensures regular coverage of periodicals and miscellanies published worldwide. They are supported by a distinguished international Editorial Board. The IMB now comprises 300,000 articles, all of which are fully classified by date, subject and location, and provide full bibliographical records. Now with many new features and search possibilities, both online as on CD Rom. CD 8  contains a new web-browser-based interface with searching possible by hierachical indexes of subjects, places and dates, as well as a separate index of manuscript shelfmarks, searching by language of article, by ISBN as well as by all the previous functions. CD 8 contains 15,000 additional entries covering publications to the end of 2001.
